1. Who we are

Synaplogy (synaplogy.com) is operated by John Carlo Dizon, a sole proprietor doing business as Synaplogy, based in Cabiao, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “Synaplogy” mean John Carlo Dizon. Questions go to legal@synaplogy.com.

2. Paddle is our reseller

Our order process is run by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. Paddle handles payment, taxes, receipts and billing questions for paid purchases, and its Checkout Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. We never see or store your full card details.

3. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• Give us a real email address and keep your account to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on it.
• Tell us at support@synaplogy.com if you think someone else is using your account.

4. What Synaplogy is

Synaplogy offers short, interactive courses on many topics. Courses are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and cite their sources. AI can make mistakes. Please check the sources we link before relying on anything important.

• Learning, not advice. Courses are for general education only. They are not medical, legal, financial, investment or other professional advice. Talk to a qualified professional about your own situation.
• No certificates or accreditation. Finishing a course does not certify, license or accredit you in anything, and Synaplogy is not an accredited school.
• Points and badges. Streaks, badges and SYN points are earned by learning and taking part. SYN cannot be bought, sold, or transferred, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money. We may let you spend SYN on free rewards on the site, and we may change or end rewards at any time.

5. Subscriptions and payments

• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. The price and period are shown before you pay.
• You can cancel at any time. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
• Prices may change. We will tell you in advance, and a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
• We may also sell individual courses or course packs for a one-time price, shown before you pay and processed by Paddle like subscriptions.
• Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.

6. How you may use the site

Please follow our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: do not break the law, harass others, attack the site, scrape it at scale, or copy and resell our courses.

7. Our content and your content

Courses, design, logos and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning. You may not copy, republish, or resell them.

If you post something (a review, a bio, a course suggestion), you keep ownership but give us a free, worldwide licence to display and use it to run and improve Synaplogy. You promise it is yours to share and does not break anyone’s rights. We may remove content that breaks these terms. To report a copyright problem, see our copyright page.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using Synaplogy at any time and ask us to delete your account at privacy@synaplogy.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. If we close a paid account without a rule being broken, we will refund the unused part of the period.

9. No guarantees

We work hard to keep Synaplogy accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it will be error-free, always online, or that courses will suit your goals.

10. Limit of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any consumer rights you have where you live.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. When we make a meaningful change we will update the date at the top and, for registered users, tell you by email or on the site before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. This does not take away mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.
